Solid Rock Baptist Church of Calgary will be having its annual Old-Fashioned Camp Revival Meeting at 1539-43 St., SE, Calgary, AB from April 5 – 17, 2020. Pastor Jon Harwood of Solid Rock Baptist Church will lead the back-to-back meetings for two weeks. There will be no pre-arranged program but the Lord will lead through the week in the order of the men who will be preaching.

Pastors and evangelists from Canada and the United States will be coming to preach from 7 PM -9:30 PM services. Visitors will expect to hear the Word of God preached in the power of the Holy Spirit and meetings led in the same way. The focus of the week’s services will be preaching because that is what God uses to change lives and build churches.

Solid Rock Baptist Church is committed to following the “old paths” as mentioned in the Bible (Jeremiah 6:16). We use only the AV 1611 (King James Bible). We believe that Holy Spirit-filled preaching from this Book is the solution to the lukewarmness and compromise of many of today’s churches and professing Christians. Preaching of this kind demands a response from the hearers. It moves hearts. We believe in old-fashioned repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation as opposed to the easy-believism and shallow prayerism used by most modern churches today. The old-fashioned gospel still transforms individual lives and creates godly Christians.

The church has been having weekly cottage prayer meetings and members recently started prayer around the clock to seek the Lord and His help to prepare our hearts and the visitors’ hearts to receive what God has for each of us during the revival.
